Next stage: Game Language
Hello!
I'm back with some news. Right now, I'm working on the game engine to make it more flexible to extend it to a game language. I like the idea to release this engine for the community and see some games done by others. The language will be very simple, you don't need to know about programming languages, it's XML, intuitive tags like: text, anim ,etc. Also I'm working on a tag: resource that brings the possibility to load external resources like Flash movieclips, images, sounds, videos?.
Keep in touch!

First demo
Today I'm releasing the first demo of Flash Secret of Monkey Island. For curious, the engine works with xml, so all that you will see is dynamically loaded from an XML (Graphic sequences, dialogs, conditions, actions,...).

Enjoy and comment.

Actions and Conditions
Today I've added to new classes to the engine:
- Actions
- Conditions (work in progress).
I'm working with the conditions to enable a flexible use of them in the xml.

Welcome!!
This is my first post of Flash Secret of Monkey Island. But... what is it?, well, I got up yesterday and started thinking in a very basic adventure engine/game of Monkey Island based on the comic of Paco Vink. So I've started the project with Flash actionscript. The game engine works with a very simple scripting language in xml, now supporting:
- Scenarios
- Animations
- Text dialogs
- and today action clicks?
